Nerka Sea Frozen Salmon’s origin story is thanks to Oyster & Thistle’s owners/chef Thomas and Danielle Palmer. In 1998, when Joel’s dad began approaching restaurants in their hometown of La Conner, Washington, Chef Thomas was his first customer. Eighteen years later, he’s still loyal to the F/V Nerka‘s catch. We’re loyal to him, too: his from-scratch approach of combining regional ingredients with a classical French discipline, in a romantic setting that ensures a special yet unpretentious dining experience.
